About Food Safety Training for Food Handlers

Food safety is a priority for anyone involved in food handling, and it's crucial to have the knowledge and skills for safe practices. Our Food Safety Training for Food Handlers is a mandatory requirement for all food handlers in Australia, and it meets the standards set in the Australian Food Code. This new requirement, introduced in December 2022, means that anyone that handles food must have undertaken training by the end of 2023.

Designed for a wide range of roles, including cooks, chefs, caterers, kitchen stewards, kitchen hands, bar, food, and beverage attendants, room attendants, front office staff, and anyone who handles food, this training course provides the essential knowledge and skills for safe food handling practices.

By participating in this training, you'll learn the best practices for food handling, relevant regulations, and your responsibilities as a food handler. You'll gain an understanding of the food safety standards and responsibilities that food handlers must adhere to, as well as the skills and knowledge required to ensure the safety and suitability of food.
